How the protection works
Verifiable measures instead of big words
We do not use end-to-end encryption: for the service to show your registry, calculate shares and assemble documents, records are stored in the database in readable form. That means we do have technical access to them, and we say so plainly in the privacy policy rather than promising the impossible.
The password is not stored
The database holds an irreversible Argon2 hash. The password cannot be recovered from it, only replaced.
The session is bound to a device
The connection runs over HTTPS. Signing in issues a token pair bound to a device identifier; the refresh token is stored as a hash too.
Files behind temporary links
Scans and documents sit in object storage and are served through a signed link with a limited lifetime, not from a permanent public address.
Not a single tracker
No counters, advertising pixels or third-party scripts on the site. We do not sell data and do not pass it to advertisers.
